LAYC Chapters translate theme into local communities
- Youth feedback on issues (surveys, forums, etc.)
- Organize events/activities
JANUARY - MARCH:
Summarize Data
- Leadership prepares policy statement for youth
- Lobby Council Districts and "partners" for support
APRIL
- MAY:
Youth present to key decision making bodies
- Presentations at Council
District meetings, board meetings, etc.
JUNE:
Annual meeting
- Summarize issue
- Choose new issue for next year
*Throughout
the year, LAYC and Chapter Members organize events to raise awareness,
and educate and engage youth in their communities.
